David Bowie's legendary album "The Man Who Sold The World" celebrates its 50th birthday in 2020.

To celebrate this anniversary, the album was remixed by the original producer Tony Visconti and is now being re-released, but under the title "Metrobolist".

"The Man Who Sold The World" is the third studio album of the British music legend and the first one in collaboration with Mick Ronson. It was released in the USA in November 1970. The release in Europe followed in April 1971

Bowie originally intended to call the record "Metrobolist", a homage to Fritz Lang's Metropolis. For the US release, Mercury changed the title to "The Man Who Sold the World". But the original master tapes were probably labeled "Metrobolist", hence the new name
