Only one and a half years after his Taylor-Swift tribute "1989" Ryan Adams presents with "Prisoner" another new album with his own songs.
According to Adams, he wrote about 80 songs for the record. Together with the legendary Stones producer Don Was he finally agreed on twelve.
In it the singer and musician shows again that he does not only call one music style his home. So once again Rock, Country and Folk are in balance on "Prisoner".
In the power ballad "Do You Still Love Me?", the first single release of the new record, Adams even dares a trip into Glam Metal with heavy guitar riffs and organ intros this time.
And so Ryan Adams presents with his 16th solo album again a more than multi-faceted collection of songs. "Prisoner" is another highlight in his remarkable catalogue
