"Pink Floyd at Pompeii - MCMLXXII", the groundbreaking concert film directed by Adrian Maben in 1971, is now being released in a spectacular new version. The original material, filmed on 35mm, has been remastered and the audio remixed by Steven Wilson.
The unique music documentary was filmed against the breathtaking backdrop of the deserted Roman amphitheater of Pompeii and features an intimate Pink Floyd performance of six songs. Fans can also look forward to rare additional material in "Pink Floyd at Pompeii - MCMLXXII", which shows the band in the Abbey Road Studios during the first sessions for The Dark Side of the Moon.
